A victim of needle rape

Halloween coincides with El Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead). A Mexican holiday celebrated on October 31st through November 2nd, days when families get together to reminisce the souls of deceased relatives. The festivities include makeshift shrines comprised trinkets and images of the dead that include food and drink offering.

The celebration of the Day of the Dead dates back to pre-Columbian Aztecs and Nahua people of central Mexico who believed in the cyclical nature of the universe and in the ever-presence of the death among living as an integral part of life.
