I see the parallels with todays "Christians" as well. In the 90's when Clinton was president; the "Christians" were able to rationalize the fact that clinton TWICE vetoed a ban on Partial-birth abortion. This apparently did not bother some Christians at all. Somehow they were able to do enough mental gymnastics to twist the truth enough in their minds that they could rationalize their continued support of this murderer. Then later when he commited perjury (in the Monica Lewinsky hearings) and subornation of perjury, once again, some "Christians" were able to shape the truth into such a fashion that made it possible to keep clinton in office, even though those were impeachable offenses.

Now we have a muslim in office and still there are "Christians" who turn a blind eye. A president who wishes muslims greetings on muslim holidays but no such courtesy for Christians during our holidays. Not a single greeting. Not one. This in spite of the fact that obama claims to be a Christian. In the words of Jesus; "they have eyes to see and yet they don't see. They have ears to hear and yet they don't hear." Quite unbelievable to watch it all happen right in front of my eyes.
